Brett Favre And The Minnesota Vikings Crush the Dallas Cowboys 34-3. 2010 NFC Divisional Playoff Game

The Dallas Cowboys were on a roll heading into the 2010 NFC playoffs. Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo finally won his first playoff game last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Fans were jumping on the Cowboys bandwagon in droves. Everything was going well for the Cowboys and their fair weather fans. That is...until today.

The Dallas Cowboys bandwagon just got a little lighter as people are now jumping off. Why? Because they went into Minnesota and laid a huge egg. Brett Favre, Sidney Rice and the Minnesota Vikings completely spanked the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 34-3 in today's NFC Divisional playoff game.

The Vikings dominated this game from start to finish. Their defense just overpowered Tony Romo and forced the Dallas Cowboys quarterback into 3 fumbles and an interception. The Vikings Defense also sacked Romo 6 times.

For the game, Tony Romo passed for 198 yards with one interception thrown to the Vikings Ben Leber.

Meanwhile, Brett Favre and Vikings wide receiver Sidney Rice were lighting up the Dallas Cowboys defense. Favre passed for 234 yards with 4 touchdowns, including 3 TD passes to Sidney Rice. Rice finished his monster day with 141 receiving yards on 6 catches and the 3 scores.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson didn't have a spectacular game, but the Vikings didn't need him as they had their passing game absolutelty torching the Cowboys pathetic defense. Peterson ended up with 63 rushing yards on 26 attempts.

Now the Minnesota Vikings are moving on to the NFC Championship game, which will be played next week in New Orleans against Drew Brees and the Saints. That game could be a classic. Both teams have great offenses. The game might come down to whoever has the ball last wins.
